At the moment the Wimbledon tennis courts are all covered with snow. Although they would look amazing close, as snow always makes everything look so pretty, it is probably not something you would want to spend your time in London looking at. They will not be any matches on the courts for a very long time, especially as the grass will be ruined, even Centre court as the new roof was left open when it snowed! So if you have just arrived in the Wimbledon area then pick up your hire car and get around to looking at all of the other sites.
There are different things to do in Wimbledon when it is snowing. You could take a drive to Wimbledon Common and make a snowman although you are likely to find that the wombles will all be hiding underground as I seem to remember that they do not like the snow!
If you would rather do something in the warm then take a trip to the Wimbledon School of Art or the New Wimbledon Theatre. If art is not your thing then why not visit the shops. In London the main roads are all well gritted and so it will be safe to drive and get to anywhere that you want to. So whether you want to warm up in a pub in front of an open fire, have lunch in a stylish restaurant or just shop until you drop then you can do any of it in this area.
