Although I have no doubt that you are familiar with the word Wimbledon in relation to the sport of tennis, were you also aware that Wimbledon is a suburb of London? If you weren’t aware of this fact, not only do you know it now, but you also understand why the world Wimbledon is used for the famous tournament (because it has actually been held in Wimbledon since 1877).

Although I have never been to Wimbledon when the tennis tournament was being held there, I did get an opportunity to visit Wimbledon for the first time about one and a half months ago. I spent a total of five days in Wimbledon, and I have to say that it was a very enjoyable place to spend time. Originally, I wasn’t sure what I was going to think about Wimbledon. I didn’t really known anyone who had been there, so I didn’t have any trusted opinions to turn to. However, I found an excellent deal on a trip to Wimbledon, and because my gut was telling me to go ahead and book the deal, I decided to follow that course of action.

Now that I have been to Wimbledon, I am very glad that I followed my gut feeling. The reason for this is because I had a really enjoyable time in Wimbledon, and I would have been disappointed if I would have missed out on this great experience. Although I am not sure if I will go there again (simply because there are lots of other places I want to visit), I would recommend it to you if you have never visited it before).
