While 2008 is a year that I will be happy to forget, I don’t want to feel the same way about 2009. In the past, I never used the beginning of the year to set any goals for myself. That being said, I was committed to changing this year, so I came up with something I was going to follow. The plan that I came up with was to make vacationing a priority in my life. Once I made up my mind, I started looking around the Internet for travel deals.
I’m happy to say that I just recently returned from the trip to London that I booked in January. Thanks to the Internet, all of my travel arrangements (including my Wimbledon car hire) were made ahead of time. It was because of my advance planning and the ability to pick up my Wimbledon car hire in no time that made my trip so easy to enjoy. These positive feelings had a significant impact on me, and I realised that by continuing to stick with my original goal, I will be able to experience them again.
Although it is true that my trip to London is now over and I am back home, don’t think that means that my travelling is done for 2009. I haven’t decided where I am going to go on my next trip, but I do know I will be taking at least two more trips this year, and wherever they end up taking me should be a very enjoyable adventure.

Okay, you may not be the type of person who gets excited when they get a great deal on something, but that’s simply how my personality has always been, so all of the people who know me and spend time with me simply learn to get used to it (even if they do think that it is a little over the top).
As you can probably tell from the title and introduction of this post, there is something new that I am excited about saving money on. If you are dying to know what great deal has me all worked up, I will be more than happy to share it with you.
Currently, I am in the process of planning a trip for my friend and I to Wimbledon. The reason that I am excited right now is because less than two hours ago, I reserved a car hire for our trip there. That might not sound like anything special, but the reason that I am excited is because I got such a good deal on it. I used one of the car hire web sites that let’s you compare rates, and when I realised how much I was going to be paying versus how much I could have ended up paying, I couldn’t stop myself from getting excited about the savings I had managed to obtain for myself!

Since I was a young boy, I have always enjoyed the game of tennis. Not only have I always been an avid tennis player, but I have also always gotten a great deal of enjoyment out of watching others play the sport of tennis (especially when those other people are players who are at the very top level of this great game). While I will watch sports like football and basketball with my friends, when it comes to what sport I really like to watch on television (and in person when possible), the simple answer to that question is tennis.
Therefore, when I finally got the opportunity to attend Wimbledon in person instead of simply watching it on television, I felt like a life-long dream was being fulfilled. I wanted to make this trip as perfect as possible, so I spent a lot of time preparing for it. This was actually a really good decision, because since the Wimbledon tournament attracts so many people, I would have had an extremely difficult time finding things such as a Wimbledon car hire if I hadn’t made my arrangements quite awhile in advance of my actual trip.
